From the Bronze Age to the Pre-Roman world

On this tour you will be able to visit the Cueva del Camp del Bisbe (1300 BC) where burial ceremonies were held, the Talayot de Son Fred (800 BC), and the Sanctuary of Son Corró (400 BC). This visit will present you with the necessary elements to understand the evolution, rituals and ways of life of the prehistoric communities of Mallorca.

  • Cueva del Camp del Bisbe (1300 BC – 1050 BC): funerary and ritual cave, a 10 minute walk from the center of Sencelles.
  • Talaiot de Son Fred (800 BC): circular Talaiot, dated around the year 800 BC, very well preserved, which was part of an Iron Age settlement that has now disappeared.
  • Sanctuary of Son Corró (400 BC). Unique ceremonial structure from pre-Roman times where the famous bronze Costitx Bulls were found.
